How to add an MCP server to ChatGPT
- Enable developer mode under Settings → Connectors → Advanced (an admin does this on Team and Enterprise workspaces).
- Choose Create (or Add custom connector), enter the server's URL and complete the sign-in prompt.
- In a chat, enable the connector from the tools menu, or use it in Deep Research.
Only servers with a public HTTPS endpoint work here. Filter the directory by Remote hosting to find them.
