Terms of service

The rules for using the mcp.site directory, submitting listings, and consuming our API.

last updated: 2026-08-26

01What mcp.site is

mcp.site is a directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers operated by InfiWebs ("we", "us"). We index, curate, and present metadata about MCP servers — install instructions, hosted endpoints, tool inventories, and repository links — so developers can discover and connect them to MCP-compatible clients.

By using the site or its API you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

02Listings are third-party software

Servers listed here are built and operated by third parties. A listing — including an "Official" badge — is not an endorsement, a security audit, or a guarantee of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing a server's code, permissions, and data practices before installing or connecting it, especially servers that run on your machine or receive credentials.

We may add, edit, re-categorize, or remove any listing at any time to keep the directory accurate and safe.

03Submissions

When you submit a server you confirm that you have the right to list it, that the information you provide is accurate, and that the listing follows our listing guidelines. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display the submitted name, description, icon, and links on mcp.site and in our feeds.

We review submissions before publishing and may reject or remove listings that are misleading, malicious, infringing, or low quality.

04API use

The public read API may be used to build tools and integrations, with attribution to mcp.site. Write access requires an API token, which we may revoke at any time. Do not use the API to scrape at abusive rates, misrepresent directory data, or republish the directory wholesale as a competing service.

05Acceptable use

You may not use the site to distribute malware, harvest credentials, spam the submission queue, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or violate applicable law.

06Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, the API, or any third-party server you discover here.

07Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
