Overview

who.is is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants instant access to parsed WHOIS, RDAP, DNS, certificate, nameserver, and domain history data for any domain. Connect your MCP client to the remote endpoint and start querying domain information programmatically.

The server runs as a hosted remote service at https://api.who.is/v1/mcp, so there's nothing to install locally. You'll need an API key to authenticate. The latest release is v1.0.0. More details are available at https://who.is/docs/api.
