Overview

Vega is a Model Context Protocol server that provides 22 developer utilities including base64 encoding and decoding, cryptographic hashes, JWT operations, JSON manipulation tools, and unit conversion. It requires no authentication and is completely free to use. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can invoke these tools directly, with the model deciding when to apply them during conversations or agent workflows.

Hosted remotely at https://vega-mcp.thetempleofdoom.com/mcp, Vega needs no local installation. Simply point your MCP client to the endpoint and start using the tools immediately. Version v1.0.0 is the current release.

Vega appears in the Development category on mcp.site and integrates with all major MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and others. If you maintain this project, claim your listing to earn a Verified badge and keep information up to date.
