Underanchor

Overview

Underanchor is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you search your own PDF library and write LaTeX documents where every claim is anchored to its source paragraph. It works as a hosted remote service, so your AI assistant can invoke its tools to retrieve citations and build properly sourced academic writing without needing local installation.

The server runs at https://underanchor.com/mcp and requires no authentication to connect. Current release is v1.0.0. Simply point your MCP client to the endpoint and you're ready to search and cite.

Underanchor is listed in the File System category and works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other MCP clients. If you maintain this server, claim your listing on mcp.site to verify ownership and keep the information accurate.
