ToolGrade

Overview

ToolGrade is a Model Context Protocol server that evaluates MCP tool definitions for agent-readiness. It scores and grades tools from A to F, identifies issues that need fixing, and estimates token costs for each definition. By connecting through MCP, AI assistants can call ToolGrade as a set of native tools rather than switching between applications manually.

ToolGrade runs as a remote hosted service at https://toolgrade.mike-tusa.workers.dev/mcp. You connect your MCP client directly to that endpoint using an API Key for authentication — no local installation required. The latest release is v0.1.2, available from https://toolgrade.mike-tusa.workers.dev/.
