Secret Scanner

Overview

Secret Scanner is a Model Context Protocol server that scans configurations, files, and text to detect leaked secrets and obvious misconfigurations. All scanning happens without storing any data, giving you confidence that sensitive information remains private.

Secret Scanner runs as a remote hosted service at https://mcp.knurl.tools/mcp, so there's nothing to install or configure locally. It requires no authentication to use and is currently at version v0.1.0. Visit https://knurl.tools/secret-scanner for more information from the vendor.

Secret Scanner belongs in the File System category on mcp.site and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and others. If you maintain Secret Scanner, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep its information current.
