Overview

PlainQuery | MCP DB Agent is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Query PostgreSQL databases in plain English — LLM-generated, safety-validated SQL. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call PlainQuery | MCP DB Agent's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It's a hosted (remote) server — point your client at https://plainquery.in/mcp/ and you're connected, with nothing to install locally. The current release is v1.0.1, published under the MIT license, with source at Jarvis-27/mcp-db-agent on GitHub.
