PDF Text Extractor

Overview

PDF Text Extractor is a Model Context Protocol server that pulls text directly from PDF links and applies OCR to scanned pages, delivering results in a single flat row per URL with no null values. Billing runs on successful extractions only, making it cost-efficient for reliable document processing at scale.

The server runs as a hosted remote service at https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=sumitr_mardy/pdf-text-extractor, requiring only an API Key for authentication. Version v1.0.0 is the current release, and no local installation is needed—connect your MCP client directly to the endpoint and start extracting.

PDF Text Extractor belongs in the File System category on mcp.site. It works with any MCP-compatible client, including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
