Overview

Paper Finder is a Model Context Protocol server that helps you locate research papers and arXiv preprints, then retrieves abstracts and free full text using a DOI or paper identifier. Once connected, it exposes search and retrieval as tools your AI assistant can call directly.

This is a hosted remote server requiring no local installation — simply point your MCP client to https://papers.openkrill.app/mcp to connect. Authentication is not required. The latest release is v1.0.0, maintained by openkrill.app.

Paper Finder appears in the Development category on mcp.site and works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other MCP-compatible clients. If you maintain this server, claim your listing here to verify ownership and keep information current.
