Overview

Package Health Check is a Model Context Protocol server that scans npm and Python packages, along with package.json files, to identify vulnerabilities and assess maintenance status. By speaking the Model Context Protocol, it lets AI assistants call these checks as native tools rather than requiring manual back-and-forth between separate applications.

The server runs as a hosted remote service at https://packages.openkrill.app/mcp with no local installation needed. Authentication is not required. The latest release is v1.0.0, maintained by openkrill.app.
