Margen is an MCP server that lets you read and search your handwritten Boox notes directly from Claude or ChatGPT. It bridges your note-taking device with AI assistants, making your handwritten content accessible as tools the model can invoke during conversations. A Margen account is required to use the service.

The server runs as a remote endpoint at https://connector.getmargen.app/mcp, so there's nothing to install locally — just point your MCP client at the URL and connect. The current release is v1.0.0. No authentication configuration is needed to get started.
