Overview

Japan Law Search is a Model Context Protocol server that enables full-text search across all current Japanese laws using official e-Gov data. It lets you retrieve exact article text and legal references through a unified interface, so AI assistants can query Japanese legislation as callable tools rather than requiring manual lookups.

The server runs as a hosted remote service at https://horei-mcp.plus-synergy.workers.dev/mcp with no local installation or authentication required. Version v1.0.0 is available now under the MIT license, and the source code is maintained at fujimura-ui/japan-law-search-mcp on GitHub.
