Islam West Africa Collection (IWAC)

Overview

Islam West Africa Collection (IWAC) is a Model Context Protocol server providing read-only access to the Islam West Africa Collection via Hugging Face datasets. It integrates seamlessly with AI assistants, exposing the archive's research materials as tools your model can use directly.

IWAC runs as a remote hosted server at https://islam.zmo.de/mcp/ — simply point your MCP client to that endpoint and you're connected with no local installation required. Version 3.5.0 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at fmadore/iwac-mcp-server on GitHub.

You'll find IWAC listed in the Development category on mcp.site. It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other MCP clients. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to earn the Verified badge and keep your details current.
