Green API WhatsApp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP gateway for WhatsApp via Green API: messaging, contacts, groups and instance management. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It's a hosted (remote) server — point your client at https://mcp.green-api.com/mcp and you're connected, with nothing to install locally. The current release is v0.1.2, published under the MIT license, with source at green-api/green-api-mcp-gateway on GitHub.
