GDELT Global Events

Overview

GDELT Global Events is a Model Context Protocol server that brings geopolitical event detection and analysis directly into AI assistants. It accesses GDELT 2.0 data to track global events, monitor tone timeseries, and follow actor trends, giving you real-time insights into geopolitical developments.

The server runs as a remote endpoint at https://gdelt-events-mcp.atlasword.workers.dev/mcp with no authentication required and nothing to install locally. Version v0.2.1 is the current release, maintained at guptaprakhariitr/gdelt-events-mcp on GitHub.
