EU Counterparty Check (VIES + Peppol)

Overview

EU Counterparty Check (VIES + Peppol) is a Model Context Protocol server that validates EU VAT numbers against the VIES registry and checks Peppol e-invoicing details. Every fact returned includes its source and date, giving you complete transparency on validation results. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call the server's tools directly, letting models decide when to run checks during conversations or agent workflows.

The server runs remotely at https://mcp-peppol.mcpize.run/mcp, so there's nothing to install locally—just point your client at the endpoint with your API Key to connect. Version v0.1.1 is the current release, maintained by DouglasGouvea at https://mcpize.com/mcp/mcp-peppol.
