Overview

Engram is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents persistent memory of verbatim conversations, searchable by meaning. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Engram's tools directly, letting the model decide when to store and retrieve conversation history during agent runs.

Engram runs as a remote hosted service at https://mcp.getengram.app/mcp. You authenticate with an API Key and connect immediately — no local installation needed. The latest release is v1.1.0, open source at get-engram/engram on GitHub.

Engram is listed in the AI & Agents category and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and others. If you maintain Engram, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep your details current.
