Overview

Dynamodb is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server for AWS DynamoDB with fine-grained tool control and configurable access levels. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Dynamodb's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package aws-dynamodb-mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need AWS_REGION. The current release is v0.2.7, published under the MIT license, with source at pulsemcp/mcp-servers on GitHub, where it has earned 80 stars.
