Synapse RMCP

Overview

Synapse RMCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Rust MCP and CLI server for Docker, host inspection, SSH, logs, ZFS, and safe file operations. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Synapse RMCP's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package synapse-rmcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.5.4, published under the AGPL-3.0 license, with source at jmagar/synapse-rmcp on GitHub.
