Overview

CourtListener is an MCP server that connects AI assistants to a vast database of US federal and state court opinions, dockets, judge information, and eCFR regulations. Instead of manually searching legal databases, your AI tools can query CourtListener directly as callable functions, streamlining legal research and case law access.

The server runs as a remote endpoint at https://courtlistener-mcp.vaquill.ai/mcp/ — no local installation needed. Authentication uses an API Key. The latest release is v0.1.0, published under the MIT license. Source code is available at Vaquill-AI/courtlistener-mcp on GitHub.
