Capital Equipment

Overview

Capital Equipment is an MCP server that lets you search, book, and manage scientific research equipment across 500+ STEM core facilities. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call its tools directly, deciding when to use them as part of a conversation or agent workflow.

It runs as a hosted remote server — point your MCP client to https://us-central1-capital-equipment-dev.cloudfunctions.net/mcpServer/mcp and you're connected with no local installation needed. The v1.0.0 release is available now, with source code at cesco345/capital-equipment-mcp on GitHub.

Capital Equipment is listed under Development and works with all MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
