Overview

Artel is a Model Context Protocol server that provides a self-hosted shared-memory and coordination mesh for AI agent fleets. It lets you run a central coordination point that multiple AI agents can connect to, enabling them to share state, coordinate actions, and access collective knowledge without passing data manually between tools.

Artel runs as a remote server at https://{artel_host}/mcp and requires only an API Key for authentication. The latest release is v0.17.1, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at NicolasPrimeau/artel on GitHub. You host the instance yourself; agents simply connect to your endpoint.
