AnythingMD

Overview

AnythingMD is a Model Context Protocol server that converts PDFs, Office files, spreadsheets and images to clean Markdown, sized for agent context. Instead of manually extracting and formatting content across tools, AI assistants can call AnythingMD as a set of integrated tools, streamlining document processing workflows.

The server runs remotely at https://mcp.anythingmd.com/mcp, so there's nothing to install locally—just point your MCP client at the endpoint and authenticate with an API Key. The latest release is v0.1.0. For full details, visit https://docs.anythingmd.com/mcp/overview.

AnythingMD is listed in the File System category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client, including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain AnythingMD, claim this listing to earn the Verified badge and keep the information current.
