YTDL RMCP

Overview

YTDL RMCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: yt-dlp search, download, metadata, delivery, and Plex workflows over MCP and CLI. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use YTDL RMCP as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the npm package @dinglebear/rytdl speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v1.0.4, published under the AGPL-3.0 license, with source at dinglebear-ai/rytdl on GitHub.
