YAAC

Overview

YAAC is an MCP server that enables messaging between concurrent AI coding sessions across different clients, all over the Model Context Protocol with zero infrastructure required. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call YAAC's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

It runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx yet-another-agentic-chat, communicating over MCP via stdio on your machine. No credentials or setup are needed—it works immediately out of the box. The latest release is v0.5.2, published under the MIT license, with source code available at amyodov/yet-another-agentic-chat on GitHub.
