Overview

Xlsx Audit Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that audits Excel workbooks for formula dependency tracing, circular references, and risk smells. By implementing MCP, it lets AI assistants like Claude work directly with your spreadsheet analysis rather than requiring manual context switching between tools.

The server runs entirely local to your machine via the npm package xlsx-audit-mcp, requiring no authentication or external credentials. Install it with npx -y xlsx-audit-mcp. The current release is v0.1.0 under the MIT license, with source available at arose26/xlsx-audit-mcp on GitHub.
