Xero

Overview

Xero is an MCP server that integrates the Xero API into your MCP-compatible AI assistant. Once installed, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can call Xero's tools directly, letting the model decide when to access your accounting data during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx xero-mcp-server. It communicates over stdio and requires an API key passed through the XERO_API_KEY environment variable. The current release is v0.1.0, with source code available at asklokesh/xero-mcp-server on GitHub.
