Overview

Woody Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Woody, the AI firearms expert. Verified specs, legal lookups, and knowledge base. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package woody-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need WOODY_API_KEY. The current release is v1.0.3, published under the MIT license, with source at Gunsmith-Academy/woody-mcp on GitHub.
