Wemo

Overview

Wemo is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you control WeMo smart home devices through AI assistants. It can discover devices, toggle them on and off, adjust brightness, and manage HomeKit codes, giving Claude and other AI tools direct access to your smart home setup.

The server runs locally on your machine using the Python package wemo-mcp-server, installed via uvx. No authentication or credentials are required—it connects directly to your WeMo devices over stdio and works out of the box. The latest release is v1.4.1, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at apiarya/wemo-mcp-server on GitHub.
