Wellness Air

Overview

Wellness Air is a Model Context Protocol server that brings local-first air-quality monitoring to AI agents. It connects to AirGradient, AirThings, PurpleAir, IQAir, and Awair devices and services, letting any MCP-compatible AI assistant access real-time air quality data and make decisions based on environmental conditions.

The server runs entirely on your machine via the npm package wellness-air, with no authentication or external credentials required. Install it with npx -y wellness-air and it communicates over stdio with your MCP client. The current release is v0.5.6, published under the MIT license with source code available at davidmosiah/wellness-air on GitHub.
