Overview

webclaw is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Turn any URL into clean markdown/JSON for AI agents. Self-hostable web content extraction. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package @webclaw/mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.6.17.
