Overview

Voicemode is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Natural voice conversations for AI assistants - STT/TTS via MCP. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Voicemode as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the Python package voice-mode (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v8.12.0, published under the MIT license, with source at mbailey/voicemode on GitHub, where it has earned 1.3k stars.
