Overview

Vocabit is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Create flashcard sets in the Vocabit app and read back how the learner actually did. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Vocabit as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the npm package vocabit-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v0.1.3, published under the MIT license, with source at JohnBilousov/vocabit-mcp on GitHub.
