Vikunjamcp

Overview

Vikunjamcp is an MCP server that connects your AI assistant to Vikunja, a self-hosted task management solution. With Vikunjamcp, any MCP-compatible AI can access and manage your Vikunja tasks directly within conversations and agent runs.

The server runs locally via Docker using the image docker.io/idjohnson/vikunjamcp:0.26. You'll need to provide your Vikunja instance URL and credentials through environment variables VIKUNJA_URL, VIKUNJA_USERNAME, and VIKUNJA_PASSWORD. Authentication uses API Key, and the latest release is v1.0.26.

Vikunjamcp appears in the Productivity category on mcp.site and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain Vikunjamcp, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
