Unsplash MCP Server

Overview

Unsplash MCP Server integrates the Unsplash API with the Model Context Protocol, letting AI assistants search, fetch, and download photos with full attribution tracking. Rather than switching between apps, Claude and other AI tools can call Unsplash directly as a native capability.

The server runs locally via the npm package @hanoak/unsplash-mcp-server, communicating over stdio with your machine. You'll need an Unsplash API key set in the UNSPLASH_ACCESS_KEY environment variable to authenticate. Version 1.0.1 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at hanoak/unsplash-mcp-server on GitHub.
