Unlocalhost

Overview

Unlocalhost is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you share localhost applications with your AI coding agent through private, authenticated links. Once deployed, your local development server becomes accessible to Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI assistants, enabling them to interact with your running application as part of their workflow.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package @unlocalhost/unlocalhost, communicating with your MCP client over stdio. Installation is straightforward using npx -y @unlocalhost/unlocalhost. It requires an API key for authentication and is built on the MIT license with source code available at info-arnav/unlocalhost on GitHub.
