Unitrends Backup

Overview

Unitrends Backup is an MCP server that connects AI assistants to Unitrends Backup appliances, giving models direct access to jobs, recovery points, restores, and alerts. It exposes backup and disaster recovery operations as tools that Claude, Cursor, and other AI clients can invoke in conversation.

The server runs locally via Docker using the image ghcr.io/wyre-ai/unitrends-mcp:v1.1.4. You'll provide API credentials through three environment variables: UNITRENDS_BASE_URL, UNITRENDS_USERNAME, and UNITRENDS_PASSWORD. Version v1.1.4 is released under Apache-2.0, with source code available at WYRE-AI/unitrends-mcp on GitHub.
