UML Forge

Overview

UML Forge is a Model Context Protocol server that brings architecture intelligence, security analysis, and living documentation to your AI workflow. It provides 13 Mermaid tools that let MCP-compatible assistants understand, visualize, and secure your system designs in real time.

The server runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx umlforge. It communicates over stdio and requires the UMLFORGE_API_KEY environment variable for authentication. Version v0.1.9 is available under the MIT license, with full source code at dave1362/umlforge-connector on GitHub.
