Token Pilot

Overview

Token Pilot is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Save up to 80% tokens when AI reads code via AST-aware structural reading. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Token Pilot's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package token-pilot speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.51.1, with source at Digital-Threads/token-pilot on GitHub.
