Timezone Mcp

Overview

Timezone Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that performs IANA timezone conversions with real daylight saving time rules. It lets AI assistants access timezone tools directly as callable functions, eliminating the need to switch between applications.

The server runs locally via the npm package @mukundakatta/timezone-mcp and communicates over stdio. No authentication is required—it works out of the box. Version v0.1.0 is available now under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code at MukundaKatta/mcp-stack on GitHub.

Timezone Mcp is listed in the Development category. It works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim the listing to earn the Verified badge and keep information up to date.
