text2sql

Overview

text2sql is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you query any SQL database using natural language. The agent automatically explores your schema, generates SQL queries, and self-corrects to give you accurate results without writing code yourself.

It runs locally via the Python package text2sql-mcp, installed through uvx text2sql. You'll need to provide TEXT2SQL_DATABASE_URL as an environment variable to connect to your database, and an API key for authentication. The latest release is v0.1.2 under the MIT license, with source code available at cpenniman12/text2sql-mcp on GitHub.
