tdmcp — TouchDesigner MCP server

Overview

tdmcp is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you build real visual systems in TouchDesigner using plain language with Claude, Cursor, or Codex. Instead of switching between applications, your AI assistant can call tdmcp as a set of native tools, translating your descriptions directly into TouchDesigner workflows.

The server runs locally via the npm package @dpantani/tdmcp, communicating over stdio with no authentication required. Version v0.13.2 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at Pantani/tdmcp on GitHub.
