Live Linux host signal (CPU, memory, processes, network, optional eBPF) for MCP clients.

View on GitHub ↗

Overview

sysmcp is an MCP server that gives AI assistants live visibility into Linux host metrics including CPU, memory, processes, and network activity. It optionally supports eBPF for deeper system insights. By exposing these capabilities through the Model Context Protocol, your AI tools can query system state directly without manual context switching.

The server runs locally with no authentication required and works out of the box. The latest release is v0.5.0, available under the MIT license with source code at arunmm8335/sysmcp on GitHub.

sysmcp is listed in the Memory category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain sysmcp, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep information current.
