Subagent MCP

Overview

Subagent MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that lets Codex orchestrate external coding agents through their native harnesses. It exposes agent orchestration capabilities as tools that AI assistants can invoke directly, enabling coordinated workflows across multiple coding agents.

The server runs locally via the Python package subagent-harness-mcp, installed with uvx subagent-mcp. It communicates over stdio and requires no authentication to get started. Version v1.0.29 is available under the MIT license, with source code at Thang1710/subagent-mcp on GitHub.
