StringLane

Overview

StringLane is an MCP server that lets you check, translate, and fix app localization files in formats like ARB, iOS strings, Android XML, and i18next JSON. Instead of switching between tools, AI assistants can call StringLane as a set of tools through the Model Context Protocol, making localization workflows faster and more integrated.

It runs entirely on your local machine via the npm package @stringlane/cli, speaking MCP over stdio. No authentication or external credentials are needed — install with npx -y @stringlane/cli and it works immediately. The latest release is v0.4.1.

StringLane is listed in the File System category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain StringLane, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep the information current.
