Overview

Strata is a self-hosted AI memory server that stores persistent memory on your hardware instead of relying on cloud services. As a Model Context Protocol server, it lets AI assistants access and manage your memory as callable tools rather than requiring manual copy-pasting between applications.

Strata runs locally on your machine using the npm package strata-mcp-server, which communicates via stdio.
