Stata Mcp

Overview

Stata Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that brings regression analysis capabilities to LLMs through Stata integration. It lets AI assistants help you perform econometric analysis and statistical modeling by invoking Stata tools directly from conversation.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package stata-mcp, installed through uvx. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication to get started. Stata Mcp is published under the AGPL-3.0 license and maintained at SepineTam/stata-mcp on GitHub, where the project has gained 253 stars. The latest release is v1.23.1.

Stata Mcp is listed in the Development category on mcp.site and works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, and other MCP clients. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to earn the Verified badge and ensure the information stays accurate.
