Srclight

Overview

Srclight is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Deep code indexing for AI agents. FTS5 + embeddings + call graphs + git intelligence. Fully local. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package srclight (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.20.1.
