Overview

Source Parts is a Model Context Protocol server that streamlines electronic component sourcing, BOM management, and PCB design workflows. AI assistants connected via MCP can call Source Parts as a set of tools, eliminating the friction of switching between applications and manual data entry.

You can use Source Parts in two ways: connect to the hosted endpoint at https://mcp.source.parts/ without any local setup, or install the parts-mcp package on your own machine using uvx. The latest release is v0.5.3, distributed under the Apache-2.0 license with source code available at SourceParts/parts-mcp on GitHub.
